Rändi Fay

A notable creative presence on the Wisconsin music scene, Rändi Fay defies the limitations of genre in her fusing of the softness of nostalgic artists from the past, the tonal richness of jazz and the emotional drama of contemporary symphonic pop.  A Green Bay, WI native, she has traveled far from her training as a veterinarian to being one of Wisconsin's top performers, recording artists and songwriters. Her music has earned her nominations for "Female Vocalist of the Year" (2015) and "Jazz Artist of the Year" (2015-18) by the Wisconsin Area Music Industry and two awards as a UK Songwriting Contest semi-finalist ("Winter Wind" & "Freely Given" 2017). Whether live or a product of her energetic studio work, Rändi's poetic lyrics, dynamic melodies and transcendent vocals captivate listeners, connecting and inspiring.

Rändi’s live events range from private house concerts to corporate events, skillfully crafting a memorable show for each audience. Rändi has been actively recording since 2010, her music receiving international airplay. Her first three CD’s, "Close to My Heart, Love Songs and Lullabies" (2010), "Noël" (2011) and "That Old Black Magic" (2012) highlight the variety of music, tender folk to rich jazz, that is at the core of Rändi's style. "Falling" (2014) was her first all-original project. A productive 2017 included the release of her CD "Chrysalis" in July, single "Moonlight" in October and holiday EP "Evergreen" in November 2017. August, 2018 sees the release of her ethereal music video and single "Supernatural."

Rändi’s songwriting and recording continue to be exploratory, expansive and contemporary, encouraged in her collaboration with co-writer and producer Aaron Zinsmeister of White Raven Audio (Appleton, WI). Together they are creating a 10-cut concept album "Intuition," a foray into symphonic/electronic alternative pop to be released in 2019.
