Romina Arena

From the tender age of 4 through her teenage years Romina Arena was a Mouseketeer for Disney in Italy and was classically trained as a singer and dancer. Her love for music, performing and the creative process has never waned. Romina Arena has been a positive contributor and force in the entertainment business all her life as a Singer, Songwriter, Composer, Performer and now an Author of Books. Romina is an International Star with over 4,000,000 albums sold to her credit with many awards.
Success has not come without adversity for Romina though. At the age of 15 she suffered a vicious attack rendering her comatose with vocal chords severed and literally pushing her to the edge of life and death. With an unwavering faith and true determination, Romina not only survived but completely recovered. Romina has been flourishing, bringing life through her voice to fans with a distinctive five octave vocal range that is idiosyncratically powerful, elegant and tender.
Romina has been recognized by, performed and worked with the elite in her craft; from Andrea Bocelli, Ennio Morricone, Luciano Pavarotti, Lionel Richie, producers Chuck Howard & Bob Johnston to name a few. She has done this while paving her own path on the Global Stage becoming the true Voce Vita.

In 2012, Romina wrote lyrics to and recorded 15 famous scores for “Morricone Uncovered” with legendary Oscar/Grammy/Golden Globe winning film composer Maestro Ennio Morricone. When asked why he decided to collaborate with Arena for their new album together, Morricone responded, “I decided to work with her because of her hard work and incredible successes achieved. But most importantly, I consider her the most dominant voice I have heard in my life. I do not allow just any artist to write lyrics to my movie scores. But for her I make the exception.”
