Sharon Lee Beavers

Sharon is a professional Singer/Songwriter with over 20 years of experience in the music industry. From the tender age of 5 she was performing with The Beavers Family Band. Her formal vocal training includes opera, spirituals, show tunes, folk and jazz. Sharon plays many instruments but her main focus is on piano, guitar, flute and violin.

EXTENSIVE Domestic/International Exposure! “Well Rounded Woman” charted 20 weeks and hit 2 on The Panel Report. The following songs hit #1 on both the Indie World Country Radio Report and Tracker Independent Country Chart: “For the Last Time” – (12/17/99) and (2/4/00), respectively. “Whatever Happened to the Romance” – (6/2/00) and (5/19/00) “Two Left Feet” – (9/22/00) – Hit #1 on both charts same week.

Sharon was named OCA’s Country Female Vocalist of the Year (2000); Nominated for Best Female Vocalist, Best Songwriter, Best Song and Best Music Publisher for the Indie of the Year Awards (2000); Nominated for the Female Rising Star Award (Golden Music Awards); Nominated for “Golden Artistic Career Achievement” by Airplay International; Received Honorable Mention in the 1998 John Lennon Songwriting Competition; Chosen as “Country Star of Tomorrow” by Modern Screen’s Country Music Magazine (1996); Awarded ASCAP’s Popular Award for 1996-2002.
