Steve Jones

Singer / Songwriter / Performer

Hometown: Vancouver, B.C. Canada
Sign: Libra
Instruments: Guitar, Vocals
Genre: Rock, Pop, R&B
Previous Bands: Foreign Exchange, Loose Change, Amazing Rubber Band.

Steve Jones started or played in various original Rock and Roll bands as a Vancouver boy. He even recorded a couple of demos of original music with his band, "Foreign Exchange" by the time he was 16 years old.
Soon after, Steve moved to the Okanagan, and, by the mid nineties, Steve got back into the music business, helping to start the popular Penticton B.C. cover band, "Loose Change"!
It was after a fun filled couple of years of playing a busy schedule with "Loose Change", when in the Fall of 1999, Steve went into the studio with a hand full of original songs and some new musicians to work with.
This music was not released for many years, but it was at this time that Steve was invited to join the ever popular, "Kyle Anderson's Amazing Rubber Band". In February 2000, he did.
He would be with the "A.R.B." for the next thirteen years.
The band would go on to record three C.D.s, and win many awards over the years as the best entertainers of the South Okanagan by several magazine and local newspaper reader polls.
All the while, Steve continued to record and release and perform his original solo music and in 2011, Steve started The Steve Jones Band. They began playing gigs at wineries and popular patios through out the Okanagan valley, becoming one of the busiest local performers in the Okanagan!
In early 2013, Steve left the A.R.B. to focus strictly on his solo projects.
In 2014, Steve Jones, a veteran of the music industry, offered an acoustic show made for any winery or patio. Always trying to keep things fresh, finding the right mix of classic rock songs, ballads and a sprinkle of Steve's favourite originals.
November 1st 2014 saw Steve Jones and Great Britain artist Owen Hodgson introduce a Shiny new band, "So?", with a #1 single "Yes I Know" on the NM1 charts and a Shiny album called "SHINY OBJECTS".
Through the years of playing live, Steve continues to release new music.
He released his 4th "Solo" studio album "Davie Street" this Sept. 2019.
Steve, to this day, loves to play various live shows with his longtime bandmates, Ryan Schick on keyboard and Monika Jones on vocals.
