Terry Clark

Terry Clark’s voice is known to many who aren’t aware of his many solo albums because he was a prominent voice on Maranatha!Music’s projects from 1980 to 2000. (15 of the original masters are now TC&M!M-20 years of worship.)
Terry’s music is designed to direct the listener to an intimate conversation with their Heavenly Father, and his life has been a process of developing that communication. His spiritual roots run deep in the Gospel message and music, but Terry went through a period of time sampling life outside that upbringing. Finally, at the end of that expedition and of himself, humiliated to be a human being, he pushed away. In that condition he heard a familiar voice. It was his childhood friend, Jesus, whose love transformed Terry’s perspective. His dependencies shifted to the One who had answered the question: Is there a reason for this life? A life of intimacy with Jesus has produced songs which are windows through which anyone can discover and participate in that relationship – Eternal Life.
Terry’s first recordings WELCOME & MELODIES, were Contemporary Christian albums on Good News /Word Records label and contained several radio “hits” in the late ‘70s, early ‘80s including Ugadano Thawanu Maija and Jesus Is At The Wheel.
Terry saw the desperate need for more intimate contact with God. He made public his one-on-One conversations with Jesus which became the story of the making of a worshiper in 2 volumes – LIVING WORSHIP & LET’S WORSHIP, now a 2-CD package titled THE WORSHIP COLLECTION.
Then, HEAVEN IS NOT THAT FAR AWAY, a large band sound, evangelistic message project; and IN THE SECRET PLACE, a family worship time with songs which convey the central message of intimacy with our Lord.
Roby Duke began producing Terry’s projects in 1993 with U-GADA-NO. Next came THIS CHRISTMAS, LOVE HEALS, ONLY BELIEVE & ThePRIZE. Roby went Home on the day after Christmas 2007.
WE’VE COME TO WORSHIP – LIVE with Terry & Nancy Clark, conveys, under Bob Somma’s production, what they do when leading worship for church services and conferences with familiar hymns and choruses, along with Terry’s conversation songs. This project is designed to invite the listener to join in with the voices of the congregation.
Terry’s latest release – TUYO SOY produced by Jeff Lams, is a beautiful Spanish version of 7 songs by Terry, plus 2 from Duane Clark and one from Roby Duke. This project was produced to answer the need for Spanish ministry resources and to invite the listener to an intimate, conversational relationship with Jesus.
