Some fan and industry reviews:

"Really enjoyed your CD - well produced and arranged. ‘Extremities’ has great backing vocals, great texture and good timely changes - you have put the song across in the first 1 minute and 30 secs, which is perfect for first time listeners."
- Chris White (of The Zombies fame)

"I think 'Extremities' stands out as a potential hit single. It shows Matthew's ability to create beautifully layered harmonies that really work with the lyrics. The song is both moving and uplifting and has universal appeal. I can imagine a boy band doing a wonderful version of it. Matthew has written songs that I believe could be big hits if matched with the right artists."
- Kelly Davis - music festival organizer

"SO MUCH wanted to say how wonderful the CD is - very, very impressed. Truly great songs and beautifully sung and performed. Matt stands out as a real star. Played it to an 18 year old boy and 25 yr old girl yesterday and they just said 'WOW'. All the best wishes in the world for a success with this - it deserves it."
- Sue Greville Collins - Languedoc, France

"Great songs, great hooks, they grow on you. I still have them in my head."
Ronny Morris - Digitak Mastering, Brunswick GA, USA

"More great tracks from 'The Fugitives'. This group write such diverse songs and yet have a really strong identity. I've been playing these tracks over and over - they hook you in straight away and I was singing along by the second listen... So nice to hear a song in which you can actually hear the words - especially as the lyrics are so interesting and cleverly written. Love it!"
- Gabi Maddocks - Director of The Playing Space drama school

"Profound, intelligent lyrics and great tunes. Superb."
- ANW - London, UK

"Wow!!! Procol Harum collide with the Kinks and produce a wonderful offspring. This is a very refreshing change from the bulls**t you are sometimes subjected to when you do reviews. Interesting lyrics and a vocalist that makes them work just right with the music. Well written. Well executed."
- Boptherabbit - Merritt Island, Florida

"It grew on me like a 5th grade crush."
- DLEO - Denver, Colorado

- Bipolar - San Diego, California

"Insane vocals. Sounds like John Lennon through a fan. Mix is good. Sounds like a 60s vinyl which is pretty awesome. They should write a musical!! Sounds like theater-rock. Good job."
- Cooljkaz - Los Angeles, California

"Loved 'This that and the other' ~ a fab song and sound. Loved the keyboards and Matthew has a great voice. It took me to another era, like The Small Faces. I was tapping my feet. I really think The Fugitives have something unique as a sound."
- Gilly Moor - Notts, UK

"THE FUGITIVES are awesome.... Their music is timeless… The SONGS are all unique in every way, at the same time soothing enough to relieve me from stress."
