The Luck of Eden Hall

In the 1990’s The Luck of Eden Hall got their start with a 7” on Limited Potential Records (USA) and their Belladonna Marmalade CD along with several EP’s on Walrus Records (USA). These efforts received positive reviews and the band appeared in the New Line Cinema film The Day My Parents Ran Away, toured the mid-west and gigged regularly on the Chicago scene. TLoEH released the albums Subterrene in 2007 and When The Clock Starts To Wake Up We Go To Sleep in 2009. In 2010 the band started working with the UK label Fruits de Mer Records, releasing modern versions of classic psychedelia. In 2011 their first limited edition colored vinyl 7” EP on FdM Records immediately sold out! Their rendition of Lucifer Sam was included on the cover-mount CD in Classic Rock Magazine and their epic self released two volume CD set Butterfly Revolutions was included on “Best of 2011” lists around the world. 2012 brought more FdM Records releases and a limited edition CD titled Alligators Eat Gumdrops, which sold out. In 2013 Butterfly Revolutions Vol. 1 & 2 was released as a limited edition double LP on Headspin Records (Netherlands). Shindig! Magazine hosted a free give away contest for the band and TLoEH ran a successful Kickstarter campaign to Tour the UK to support their 7th album Victoria Moon. Initially released as a limited edition CD in 2013, Victoria Moon was re-issued in 2014 on colored vinyl by Headspin Records. Active Listener Records (New Zealand) released TLoEH’s Greatest Hits Vol. 1 and the band appeared in a slew of magazines including Shindig and Goldmine.
This year TLoEH’s theme song and music are featured in the new kid’s television show Moochie Kalala Detectives Club, starring Tim Kazurinsky. It premiers January 18th on WTTW. The current issue of Record Collector Magazine features an FdM box set, that includes TLoEH, on it’s Most Wanted page, and a new 7” single titled The Happine$$ Vending Machine is being released on Headspin Records. TLoEH will be touring Europe in August to support their next album, The Acceleration of Time.
