Trisha Mason Releases New Album “RedSky”
Contains the hit singles “Judged” and “Fall”

Media Contact: Steve Peer

"With her bright, distinctive soprano and versatility playing both guitars and keyboards, Mason has established herself as the hardest working woman
on the Maine music scene”.

Bangor Daily News

“Her songs have been described as "Existential Soul Candy," and she wears her heart on her sleeve at every performance”.

"Red Sky"demonstrates an increased confidence and maturity in her songwriting. The song "Charlie And Flora" alone is worth the price of admission here. Mason shows off and astonishing range of influences, and the album features guest appearances from many East Coast artists, in addition to her top notch band. Add "Red Sky" to your collection immediately!"

The independent spirit has been a driving factor in Trisha completing “Red Sky”.  Whether touring with her energetic indie punk-folk band, or playing solo, Trisha delivers the goods. Her uncompromising quality as a live performer has translated well to the new record.
After the first record, Trisha considered abandoning the idea of making music regularly. She had her say and it was time to travel or write a book, however fans could not get enough.   A chance meeting with Gordon Fellis of The Crown Vics led to sessions of recording the tunes that kept oozing out of Trisha.  After months in a variety of studios, with the best East Coast players Maine had to offer, Gordon at the helm and her combined work ethic and determination a record loaded with grit and tingling with adrenaline was hatched.
“The new record is badass. Words and riffs collide in synchronicity and the strange and psychedelic experience begins”, explains Trisha. “Most people get a steady job, a nice hobby and hope it all works out. My hobby is my job, I make it work and sometime’s it ain’t so nice. I’m there for all to hear.”

With the release of “Red Sky” Trisha is looking forward to a host of fresh listeners open to her honesty, unguarded nature, and her tunes that are filled with love, hope and grit!
