Here is a review for "Cthulhu Rising" by WORMFOOD

WORMFOOD- “Cthulhu Rising”
A Review by: Becky Gilson
Lead in by mesmerizing bass lines, a haunting mix of relatively off key guitar riffs trails behind, leaving a mix of fear and wonderment. Wormfood’s c.d. invites you to frolic with the dead, then pounds them awake with the songs that follow.
Quite a mixture of influences pours through the mechanisms of their songs. The drummer pounds the double bass consistently as if he were tenderizing a steak. The guitar licks can only be comparable to Zakk and Dimebag, while the consistent bass line follows tightly with the drums. Almost on an off-cue, Lucifer Fulci comes in with his deep growl, forcing you to hug yourself a little bit tighter, truly wondering if Satan himself is talking to you in words you do not understand fully.
If you think you would like to take a look into the dark tunnels of this horror rock, and hear the pounding, or the screams of pain yourself, you could find them in one of two places.,, or you can email the main contact, Lucifer, at Enjoy your journey.

Lucifer Fulci is the creature created by David Mark Stashko on Halloween of 1994 in the haunted hills of Hollywood, California. Lucifer was created out of an artistic desire to bring life to the supernaturally charged nightmares that bled in David’s veins since birth. From the moment Lucifer was created, he began to cast his spells upon the multi universal media macabre. In music, he has written, recorded and performed with death rock legends Penis Flytrap, Wormfood, Lords of October and under his solo moniker. Much of his music has been used in science fiction/horror films and documentaries. He is always in some stage of production of new music, ever experimenting and crossing over genres.
With his writing, Lucifer Fulci has created blogs, reviews, short stories, books, screenplays and poetry that spans multiple formats, publishers and styles. He has won a variety of awards and was once called an “untapped potential for disturbing horror in art and film” with the likes of Edward Lee and Poppy Z Brite.
As Lucifer Fulci, he has created the horror convention, Splatterpalooza, written and directed various short movies and music videos (including the award winning movie, “The Idol,”) sits on the board of strangeness at the Flint Horror Collective and is one of the (ir)regular panel members of the popular podcast called “The Ghoul Cast.”
As David Stashko, he is a social worker, advocate for multiple pathways to recovery and family guy. He writes books on spirituality, recovery from addiction and scary books for young people.
