ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
1020 - aka the Greatest Band in the World - formed in 2000 in southern New Jersey. The band has rocked out the last 2 years, playing mostly around Philadelphia, New Jersey, and New York. "The Advanced Degree" is the band's debut album, and we'd love for you to hear it!

1020's members have a wide range of influences, including the Descendents, the Lemonheads, Pavement, Matchbox 20, and the Smithereens, as well as Philadelphia bands such as Familiar 48. 1020's music is hook-filled, with catchy harmonies and a rocking guitar-driven sound.

Check out the band's sweet MP3s, maybe order a cd, and be sure to check out the band's website at www.1020online.com (also www.greatestbandintheworld.net) for more band info, including shows, pictures, bios, trivia, and more!

I like it. It's catchy and it's got Roy Schwartz.
