Album Notes
A daring mash-up of Folk and Progressive Rock, 6016's debut album bridges the generation gap in a way most can only dream of.

Relying on a shared sense of hope and love of music, guitarists Stephen and Philip Petersen write songs that are not only enjoyable, but structurally refreshing.

A tour de force DIY project between Father and Son, their music is nothing but uplifting.

Covering every topic from global warming to race cars, "Another Planet" is sure to change your perceptions of not only music, but our world as well.

Abbey Reviews (abbeyreviews.org)

Started in 2003, Father and Son Music Team 6016, have set out to change music AND perceptions. Formed when one was 60 and one was 16, (we won't say which is which!), Guitarists Stephen and Philip Petersen began by recording a simple tape album to pass among family and friends. Preforming at Philip's wedding, the project began to form something more. The idea came in 2005 when Stephen was attending recording classes at Diablo Valley College, to record an album. Picking up Pro Tools and several Mics, they began tracking at Philip's home in Concord.
