They were born out of musical differences and formed from a cross section of two bands 'Dead Head' & 'The Everything', the '67 Kung-Fu Eskimos' recorded their debut EP entitled 'Suitable for Microwaves' way back in 1995. In a very rushed 4 hours amidst production problems it was felt by the band that the quality of the production did not encompass nor capture the raw energy and power the Eskimo's frequently portrayed. Personnel changes happened, Paul, Phil & Chris remained and 20 years on, THEY'RE BACK with a BANG!!!!

In 2015 Paul & Phil decided enough was enough and they had to return. With Chris being in Arizona it wasn't going to be easy. However, with Chris due back in Manchester for a week in November, the moment had to be seized. Through the wonders of modern technology they were to reform and record a follow up EP 20 years after recording their first. A mammoth task considering the distance, time restraints, Paul & Chris hadn’t played for more than 10 years and that this would be Paul’s first attempt at Vocals.

Digital files were sent to Chris so he could get up to speed with what was happening in the UK, whilst Paul & Phil worked on fine tuning the 4 tracks that would be recorded. When Chris arrived in the UK, one joint rehearsal was had 2 nights before they were to record. The result of the new recording shows what the world has been missing this last 20 years. Original rock from 3 frustrated musicians!

Now’s The Time for 67 Kung-Fu Eskimos to have their 15 minutes of fame! ‘Return of The Magnificent 67.... Back From Hells Igloo’ is a testament to their never ending belief and talent. Played on Radio stations around the world, the new EP has been very well received. The guys are planning to line up a few dates to promote the EP very soon, in the mean time sit back, enjoy and allow 67 Kung-Fu Eskimos’ music to caress your ear drums like no other band has done before!
