ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
7Stories is Monica Serra, Terry Bacon and Steve Kaufman, three New York musicians who have been writing songs and developing their unique style over the last few years. And, with this album, they have created something new and refreshingly different.

With the desire to create music that develops out of improvisation while still connecting to the very human need for pattern and melody, they have recorded eleven tracks that combine the best of experimental, traditional, poetic and rock music. The songs on this album manage to be both thought provoking and funky, and show off the undeniably eclectic musical tastes of these musicians.

The band members call what they do either "arternative" or "artcore" music. Take your pick. Listen carefully... and turn it up!
