8 stops 7 lineup change!!! 8stops7 have blended the aggressive, in your face influence of new guitarist Rodney Amieva into the original line-up of Evan Sula-Goff & Adam Powell and the return of Alex Viveros and Seth Watson.

New album currently in preproduction expected to be about fall 2008!!!

8 STOPS 7, a Ventura, California-based band, was formed in 1997 by singer Evan Sula-Goff, guitarist Seth Watson, bassist Alex Viveros, and percussionist Adam Powell. The band later blended guitarist Aaron Johnson and bassist Paul Wickstrom into their current line-up replacing Watson and Viveros respectively. All of the members feed off of each other’s intense creative abilities and work hard at structuring songs that tend to bleed through several different genres at once, reaching an even larger audience. Whether it’s a loud-rocking anthem or a sensitive ballad, these young men make sure each song incorporates textured melodies, progressive grooves, and a universal meaning. Powerful vocals, innovative guitar riffs, and an over-the-top rhythm section have created songs that have already influenced hundreds of thousands of die-hard fans worldwide.

Time vs. Music
To much time not enough music! This cd is great and holds on to its originality from the first album even after many years. I also think shows in Portland, ME are a good thing!! Hint-hint.

hey hi love your new album bend
it is nice to see you guys out again play more. my fav song is the all album but my two is track 11and13and15.

Very good
I was so excited to see that 8stops7 finally had something new out. I was a big fan of their In Moderation CD and still listen to it to this day. So, when I found out they hadnt broken up and actually released this album "Bend" I rushed to CD Baby to purchase it. The album starts off great and never gets bad. It's 15 songs so you get a great deal of music here and while every once in a while a song comes that isnt the greatest....it's at least always good. Number 2 is a AWESOME rock song. It really kicks ass. Also, Number 7 is fantastic as well. Like I said, at least every song is good. And even better, some are great. Bend is a worthy follow up to In Moderation. Buy this album with confidence!

the cd couldn't have arrived any sooner, or in a better condition thank you(s) very much.

Makes albums that the skip button is not used.
8stop7's bend is a great CD. There's no need to skip or forward. Great vocals and lryics. A pure rock album. A definite must for any collection.

8stops7 delivers again
It has been a while since I have heard new material from 8stops7 and going from the quality of the first ablum I had no doubt that I would like this one and well I do. Now I just wish they would perform close to me, I mean I live in the same state, c'mon.

Great 8stops7 CD...
Great 8stops7 cd.... I listened to In Moderation over and over and over when it came out. I was excited to see a new CD and this is a solid album from a great band.

Great Album
I have waited about 8 years for a new 8Stops7 album, only to recently find out they released an album without me knowing. I bought it immediately and am most impressed. The lyrical talents displayed on the album are amazing. The Breathing Room chorus is brilliant: "In this waining life there's no mysteries, no enigmas; no entangling webs wrapped aroung this idle time; it comes in like a flood no debates, no vane suspicions; but when the day retires what remains what's been denied." Great album

A deliberate musical vertigo
Music that pushes the listener off-balance – this is the rule with 8stops7 and they come through again with Bend. The lyrics, the guitars, the percussion, challenge each other, forcing a deliberate musical vertigo that forces the listener to stop. Replay. Like In Moderation, every song in Bend is a perfect combination of dissonance and consonance. These guys know where the edge is and how to subtly push beyond it. Unlike In Moderation, there are a couple songs that struck me as not in keeping with the band’s unique sound. “To Remain Here” feels like a filler – it’s missing the edginess and maybe just wasn’t ready yet. “Filler” plays like a pop song, and while the lyrics remind us that that’s the whole point of the sound, it’s instrumentally my least favorite. And the scream in “Need” just doesn’t work like it does in “My Would-Be Savior” (In Moderation). Regardless, I never grow tired of listening and wanting more.
