Album Notes
Written and Recorded over the last two years, this album chronicles many different emotions: Sadness, Happiness, Love and Loss. "After The Rain" is mostly about hope and a better tomorrow. I originally wanted to record this album with other instruments but as I was laying down basic tracks, I really felt the pieces were conveying the emotions beautifully on the piano alone. I always wanted to record a solo piano album... because that's where it all started: Me and a piano - no special effects or extra instrumentation to take away from the piece, just raw and real. About four pieces into this project, I knew that this was going to be the first chapter of that journey.

No matter what you've been through in life, once the storm has cleared, there is a calm, a new beginning... that is where you'll find this album.

About Me:
Music has always been an outlet of creative expression for me. I've never been able to convey my deepest emotions in words as I have in my music. No other form of art has ever captivated and moved my soul as music has. Even though I've taken classical piano lessons since I was very young, I was brought up by listening and copying my musical heroes. I feel that is where I learned the most about music. I play a variety of instruments, but my true passion is in the piano. As far back as I can remember, I've always been attracted to instrumental music, especially music in film. I hope to someday have a career in Film Scoring on the professional level, but that is a dream for a little later... All I ever wanted was to touch peoples lives with music, whether as a teacher, or as a composer, just as my life has been touched by others music.

Beautiful Album!
I really enjoyed this album! "Carousel" is an excellent piece. I also love #9, entitled, "Passage." I think this piece would work great in a movie score; at the emotional turning point of the movie. "Passage" almost sounded like a variation on rain itself. A beautiful creation altogether.
