ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Beth's three previous albums combined jazz standards and original material. By popular demand, and almost by surprise even to herself, Beth decided to release an album of all originals. As someone who doesn't want to be categorized as a singer of a particular style, she includes songs from several genres, from lullaby to rock, from jazz to country, from an old-fashioned waltz to a folksy tune - the label isn't important. What matters is the connection you feel when listening to her music. Connection to a memory, connection to another person....the lyrics tell simple, heartfelt stories about what it is to experience the joys and sorrows of being, with melodies that could almost tell the stories themselves.
