Me and Mary Ann which features new material from Bob McNeill plus new versions of his best known songs. The album was recorded in Nashville, USA; Wellington, New Zealand; and Galway, Ireland, and features some of America's top session musicians as well as guest appearances by many of the New Zealand musicians he has worked with over the last 10 years. For this project McNeill is also joined by Galway singer Marie Dolan, with whom he regularly works.

It's a collection of songs about people who have made their big decision; here, we get to hear how it went. They're not perspectives we normally get to hear in folk rock, so it's a refreshing turn - his melodies are sublime, his guitar playing beautiful, and the band is hot
