ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
"Allow me to reintroduce myself"

Bro. Y. is the new name of an old friend (Woody Rock). Since 1996, he's been giving you songs like April Showers and Angel as a part of the R&B group Dru Hill. Then in 2002, he branched out and released a gospel album called Soul Music featuring cameos by heavy hitters in both the Gospel and R&B world such as Mary Mary, Men Of Standard, Case, and a host of others.

Now, 8 years, an R&B album, some WWE styled drama, and a whole wealth of life experiences later, he reemerges as Bro. Y("It's a new beginning, I'm a new man, so I had to come with a new name. The letter "J" wasn't around in Bible times so all the people in the bible whose names start with "J", in the Hebrew tongue, their names would start with a "Y" and alot of my Bible heroes names start with "Y" so I call myself that as a tribute to them.") to share with you The Truth, a fresh new single produced by Ibneza & co produced by Darkskinned Tay which sums up some of his experiences. "Somebody told me once that music is therapy, instead of going to see a shrink, I'ma just work it out in the booth and hopefully my experiences will help someone else."
