Any Room

Room for pleasure wide as the ocean
Searching, searching every day

Busy, busy loading care

Have you any room
Ahave you any room for the crucified One
Have you any room (repeat)
Have you any room for love

See Him on the cross, help the cause
Time waits for no man

Matt. 22:37 (King James)
Thou shalt love the Lord thy God....
Thou shalt love thy neigbour as thyself

Behind the Door
I come to you light of my life,
Hear my prayer this day
I don't know if I'll spend it aright,
What will I have to say
Chorus
Before I rise to my feet I need your grace and mercy
I need to know I have liberty
Before I take one step more I need to hear in your word
I need not fear what lies behind the door.
2. My soul knows what's right and what's wrong
You put it there way back when.
Sometimes it's hard to keep going on and on and on
To stay the course to the end
Chorus
Bridge
Behind the door is the threat of homeless hunger
Behind the door waits pain and thunder
Behind the door I'll obey no other, no other
Behind the door I'll show your true colors
Chorus

Notes
Ps. 19:14
Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of
my heart,be acceptable in thy sight o Lord my strength and
my redeemer.

When He gives quietness, who then can make trouble? If He
is for you, who can be against you? Keep the faith.

Notes
Wait on the Lord be of good courage,
and he will strenthen thine heart: wait I say
on the Lord. Ps. 27:14

This song was written at a very dark time in my
christian experience. I knew enough to know that I
needed to just chill and let God have His way.But I
needed to be reminded.

What Am I Living For
1. What am I living for
The world over seems to be asking always for more
Your people wear a frown
Their blinded minds touching the ground
But you've sent me through to do as Jesus would
So what am I vliving for if not for you.

2. What am I living for
Your people need a smile to let their broken heart heart soar
A touch to help soul and body heal
A word to know you're real
A hand to help them too, so they'll see just like new
So what am I living for if not for you
Chorus
There is no life worth living without you
My old ways have disappeared, new ones taken its place
There is no life worth living without you
What am I (repeat)
What am I living for if not only for you
Repeat verse 1
Chorus

Notes

What then shall I do when God rises up? When He visits, what shall
I answer Him? Job 32:14
The greatest visit of all times was when Jesus came to this earth.
He identified with us by His love, mercy, comfort and blessings
what will we do when He comes again? Have we through selfishness
kept our lives and talents on a shelf where they could not prove a
blessing to others?

Power in the Blood
1. saying God is an essence of nature
Our own worthlessness becomes our savior
Taking the whole word as a fiction
We shut God out of His sovereign position

2. Our sad state of affairs is unnatural
Only the supernatural can bring a revival
Yes that power is the power of God
The blood of the Crucified One
The blood of the Crucified One
Chorus
There is power in the blood
In the precious blood of the Lamb
(repeat)
O the blood

3. The knowledge of God is our salvation
restore the dignity of our nation
Each one will reach one
To save and serve one another
Is the motto since creation
Chorus
Bridge
There is power, power, wonder working power
In the blood of the Lamb
There is power, power, wonder working power
In the precious blood of the Lamb
(repeat bridge)
In the precious blood of the lamb (repeat x3)

Notes
"I am the vine ye are the branches....for severed
from me ye can do nothing". John 15:5

The task and triumph of religion is to make men
and nations true and just and upright in all
their dealings..to bring law and conduct into
conformity with the law of God. H.J Van Dyke

Talking 'Bout a Child
1. Talking 'bout a child who loves my Jesus
Here's one, here's one
Talking 'bout a child who loves my Jesus
Here's one, here's one
But ever since my loves who loved you said 'bye
I've been wanting you to answer me why
Talking 'bout a child who loves my Jesus
Here's one, here's one

2. Talking 'bout a child who wants to believe
Ephesians 6:3
Talking 'bout a child who wants to believe
Ephesians 6:3
Didn't they obey and lived by your might
Didn't they aceept that all would end right
Talking 'bout a child who wants to believe
Here's one
Bridge
Oh the heights and depths of mercy
Oh the length and breath of love
Oh the fullness of redemption
Pledge of endless life above

3.Talking 'bout a child who's been converted
Here's one, here's one
Talking 'bout a child who's been converted
Here's one, here's one
Now I'm walking in the peace of His light
Praying that our faith would pierce through the night
Talking 'bout a child who's been converted
Here's one
here's one (repeat to fade)

Notes
Who darkens my design with a cloud of thoughtless words?
Confront me like a man, and answer my questions.
Job 38:2,3(Moffatt)
The skies will clear and you will find the bright star of hope
never shines so beautifully and so bright as during the
dark night of adversity.
"Behold I am vile; what shall I answer thee. I will lay
mine hand upon my mouth" Job 40:4

I Do
1. Can we last forever Do we fall apart/
These were the questions confusing my heart
Until I looked back, saw how you waited
Through all my changes, I came to my senses

Chorus
I surrender to a love I now believe
to a life that's truly ours to keep
I surrender. by God you I choose
I surrender, I do

2. Trying really hard to control my heart
I move toward your trusting arm
If you could only read my mind, there you will find
How blessed I am that you are mine
Chorus(repeat chorus)
Bridge
Trying hard to control my heart
I move toward your trusting arm
If you could only read my mind, there you will find
How blessed I am that you are mine
Chorus (repeat)
I surrender, oh yes, I do, I do
I surrender. To this love I'll be true
I surrender, I do. I do.

Notes
Jesus is our bridegroom. He'll always be there for us,
even when others fail us. I know what I'm talking about!
This song was written in response to an invitation to sing
at my friend Andrea's wedding. I wrote, produced,
performed and dedicated it to them.

Break Me to Use Me
1. Reflecting on my life I can see the pattern
Of the ways and means He works within our lives
My days were blessed, and I grew to learn and earn
I was heading somewhere floating on cloud nine
but the time had come for disppointments indeed
Hurt and pain found me on my knees questioning
Through the clouds and sun burst, now I can see
He breaks me only to use me
Chorus
He breaks me to use me
First He blesses, raise me up high
He breaks me to use me
Then He takes me through the fire
He breaks me to use me
I will gladly follow in His lead
He breaks me only to use me

2. Jesus took the loaf and He broke and blessed it
Then He gave to us to use as chrished lives
The stories in the Book are there for our example
Of the faithfulness that comes, oh from sacrifice
I don't know much about what tomorrow holds
But I can testify of His amazing grace
So I'll surrender y all because I know
He breaks me only to use me
Chorus
Bridge
He wants to use you for His glory
Bring you through so you can tell your story
Your story for His glory
Chorus
He breaks me only to use me (repeat)

Notes

Ps.4:3
But know that the Lord has set apart him that is godly
for himself.....
Though you may be weak and perhaps beaten, yet you are made to have
dominion over your own wonderful nature. In your mind and heart
is such marvelous potential that under God, in His good time you
may be crowned with honor.

Yes Jesus Loves Me
Chorus
Yes Jesus Loves Me oh, oh yes, Jesus Loves Me
Yes Jesus loves me. For the bible tells me so

1. Jesus loves me this I know
for the bible tells me so
Little ones to Him belong
They are weak but He is strong
Chorus
2. Jesus loves me
I will stay close beside Him all my days
'Cause if I love him, love Him when I come to die
He will take me home on high
Chorus
Bridge
Thank you Lord for loving me
Thank you Lord for giving to me
(Repeat)
Giving to me, I say Yes
Chorus (repeat.. to fade)

Notes
For God so loved the world that He gave His only
begotten Son.... John 3:16
This beautiful standard was always with me as I grew up.
I am only surprised that it took me this long to record it!
Regardless of where we were born we must find our fresh spring
of inspiration, love and power from God!
