ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The David Liberty Band is comprised of David Liberty, Gary Boardman-guitars, Tom Luke-drums and Brian Fagen-bass.

David Liberty, the songwriter, has just composed his 200th song in the same manner that gave rise to his first song and that is…first he completes his melody, and then plays it over and over again, until the melody gives birth to the lyrics based on a person, place, thing, story or emotion that has touched him on a personal level.

David also possesses a unique, three octave, singing voice which he uses as the instrument to tell his stories. He has written and performed his songs on three continents and has managed to sound universal to all listeners no matter where they may live. His songs are thought provoking, insightful, melancholy and optimistic all at the same time. His songs can not be categorized nor can he. David believes that people want more than just a “hook”, they want an insight and he is more than ready to share all he has seen and learned with them.
