Album Notes
Mystifying Oracle Goodbye has 15 new original songs performed on an assortment of funky guitars.

We're talking about Stella class.

Why? Funky guitars are fun because they are full of surprises.

The album features a great deal of slide guitar playing with a rootsy American Primitive vibe.

Also, there is some harmony that would make Thelonious Monk grin.

Doc Ventura plays the blues. And he plays some Jazz harmony. Also, some pseudo-Rock-n-Roll. American Primitive, Folk, Kiddy-Kartoons, chase scenes from nonexistent soundtracks and even Trailer-Park Bebop.

Go figure.

Let's just say he has many things. But none of them are left idiomatic to their own genre.

I think he boils all these types of music down into some kind of elixir that he drinks, or perhaps makes you drink. We'll look into that if it is of concern to you.

Doc Ventura has three CD's "Mystifying Oracle Goodbye", "Box of Kenosis" and "Toyland" available on CDbaby, iTunes and at Amazon and other music distributors.

Thanks for listening.
