Album Notes
Boston's Dogs on Television came together in early 2009. After a year of playing in a slew of dive bars and cutting their teeth in the crowded, eclectic competition of the Boston music scene, they went into the studio. Emerging with an all-original album of ten songs, DoTV are taking things to the next level. The album features guitar-oriented uptempo garage rock with a bent towards sonic exploration. The songs are rooted in traditional themes and forms, and they pound and rage, rock and grind, smash and burn...just like rock music should!

From Boston Band Crush:

"Some bands can be labeled as "studio" bands and others as "live" bands. Dogs On Television seemed to have done what many bands struggle to do –accurately print their brand of grungy blues rock on their record to an emotional tee."

From The Deli:

"Dogs on Television is a Boston based band who play kick-ass blues-infused rock. Their tunes are filled with hopeful, but desperate angst, and it is awesome. The structure of the songs are picked from the pockets of deep American blues, but are successfully modified for modern, electric rock. "Dumbstruck #2" is more on the old-timey blues style side while "The Jailer" has more of a Black Crowes emotional but heavy 90's feel with brushes of ol' 70's blues-rock, reminiscent of the Rolling Stones or Steve Winwood."
