Album Notes
Guerrilla Alliance and PXR
By Vega X

Guerilla Alliance is a group formed by longtime collaborators and friends New Hampshire native emcee Vega X, and Bronx New York rapper producer Macabean the Rebel. After several collaborations with fellow Planet X Records founder Vee Eye the west coast underground veteran, and referring to each other’s connection as the “rebel alliance” in their bars VX and Macabean titled the “I-Ching” collaboration on Macabean’s Debut PXR solo LP Werdz From the Rebel pt II “Guerrilla Alliance” beginning the introduction for the group. The reason for the crew name change was rebel alliance had been used, and VX wanted something original. Both emcees being revolutionary VX felt “Guerrilla Alliance” would give the group the platform needed to display their revolutionary spiritual material. To the story of the Guerrilla Alliance would involve telling the story of Planet X Records as both entities were born together with G.A. serving as the flagship group project and front men of Planet X Records. That being said Executive Producer, and emcee of Guerrilla Alliance “Vega X” also serves as Planet X Records C.E.O., single handedly dealing with PXR’s executive decisions, future planning, affiliations, and roster. Macabean the Rebel despite being multi-talented musically, and in the hip hop elements leads PXR as the Vice President and Vega X’s right hand man. Many of the artists on Planet X Records were either affiliates of Vega X or Macabean before PXR’s inception and asked to join the independent label as friends combining power in numbers. Choosing to lead by example, the Guerrilla Alliance “Guerrilla Warfare” project would introduce Planet X Records to the world, with the album including emcees from different continents speaking different languages. The Guerrilla Alliance name is an almost metaphor for the entire roster of Planet X Records being a team of revolutionary artists spreading a message. “Guerrilla Warfare” title was chosen by Vega X taken from Ernesto Che Guevera’s doctrine which had a deep spiritual effect on both Vega X and Macabean. Many different topics are covered on the album from conspiracy theories, to political agendas, and environmental destruction. The Album singles feature, Shabazz The Disciple, The Holocaust (Warcloud), Armageddon, and Vee Eye of PXR. There are several concept tracks on the album dealing with War in the middle east, CIA Columbian drug operations, The Assassination of Malcom X, and a special World War II epic story. Other artists featured on the album are EL*A*KWENTS and Stranga The Great of PXR, Keko, ERKS Orion, Schizo the Madcapp, and G.I. .45 aka Boston George. “We wanted to build an album that would take our fans on a journey through some of the topics that Macabean and I research as well as other PXR members”-says Vega X. Planet X Records name comes from Nibiru or what is told to be the twelve planet in our solar system in the ancient Sumerian tablets. With the combination of the celestial and cosmic understanding of our family, and the revolutionary philosophy delivered by Guerrilla Alliance we are ultimately looking to strive for something beyond music with our projects. Each album will have a different theme, sound, and concept drawing listeners in not only with good music but leaving fans knowing more and beyond that a hunger for knowledge to feed themselves, and grow spiritually coming more in tune with the universe around them. Peace to all of our supporters, and look out for PXR in 2010 everywhere, check out and buy our music at thanks!
