I will never forget that night for as long as I live. I had fallen asleep in front of the TV only to awaken to the harsh and grim reality of war. There before me was the war torn and courageous face of Lt. Jeffrey N. Zaun. Having been too young to appreciate the Vietnam War, I was forced to confront unfamiliar emotions. The images of helplessly brutalized POW's haunted me. As their eyes cried out to embrace their country, I knew in my heart their terror had just begun.

I then realized that through music, I could find the solace I was so desperately in search of. What follows was a labor of love; a reaching out to the soldiers and their families in an attempt to offer comfort in these trying times of sacrifice. With the help of friends and producer Jimmy Hotz, what began in a moment of inspiration has now become a song of hope, in the belief that peace will find its' way.
