ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
* This is a group of young people from the woods of Alabama. Mel Waiters met them in Pizza Hut in Demopoliis, Alabama, and it has been own ever since. With songs like Can You Drop It, Forever and a Day and more, this CD has already been predicted to hit the charts.
* Their music derives from the dirty, back-woods of Alabama(Selma, Faunsdale & Linden) where there is red dirt and farms. Hearing the soulful sounds of Aretha Franklin, Johnny Taylor, Jackie Wilson, Whitney Houston, and others; yet, hearing erratic sounds of Nickelback, Wham, Tears for Fears, Enigma, Eagles and more; then, exploring the rhythmic development of Tupac, Notorious, Ice Cube, Outkast, Tribe called Quest, Ghetto Boys and more; then living in Christian homes that engulfed Rev. James Cleveland, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, The Caravans, and Amy Patti and more, the group's musical style adapts to any sitiuation or lifestyle. That's what Hogs Do! Yes, their music is a mixture of music from the 50s to the present form R&B to Hip Hop to blues to rock to Southern Soul to Gospel.
