Album Notes
Recorded for release on digital EP (EP sold only at live shows). Blues-based tunes that break the mold. Creative use of roots-rock elements: blues piano a la Otis Spann or Prof. Longhair, tube-amp textures, occ. slide and lap steel guitar, roots-y, funky drum and bass grooves from a supportive rhythm section.

Some songs deal with frustrations in kinda funny ways. Lyric themes include: loneliness / separation; I wanna party; looking for my baby; what's happening to our civil liberties; how simple/complex is your life?; be a better burglar.

Blues-y vocals that DO NOT imitate any of the classic singers. Most tunes great for dancing. Good instrumental work used to enhance good songs. JUMPIN' JUBA has a 10-year track record-- this music is made by veteran performers.

Recorded and mastered at 7A West Studio in Boston, MA.
