Album Notes
"I could give all to Time, except-except
What I myself have held. But why declare
The things forbidden that while the Customs slept
I have crossed to Safety with. For I am There,
And what I would not part with, I have kept."
--Robert Frost

We make many crossings in our lives, while on our journey from one day to the next. Quite often these crossings mean to take us away from something, like the past or our feelings. But just as often they mean to take us to something.
I see this album as a crossing in my life. A crossing to the safety of hindsight and understanding from a misunderstood and emotional past. Each song is a stepping stone, which carries me to higher ground. The shore I have reached in crossing is by no means my journey's end.It is, in fact, just a beginning, as these songs, these thoughts, and these silences are just the beginning.
Where we go from here is anyone's guess. I only hope that listening to these songs will give you half the joy it gave me to create them.
