Album Notes
This is KOOTS fourth album. The title song is a recognition that we must respect and honor the earth on which we live. It opens with a hymn-like prelude to a lost love - Sister Mary. To whom was she lost? This intro song will give you a taste of the harmony that some compare to the Byrds. "Bad Day" is an evil little song that again asks the listener to solve an unanswered question. Be sure to listen to "Cajun Bill. " This was originally recorded years ago as a demo for a major label and is re-mastered here with additional vocals and drums. "Down in L.A". paints a sweet story of a lost love. Interspersed between them are other gems that will please. Finally "Shades of Pink" is a nod to Pink Floyd by Larry.
