Album Notes
To commemorate the 30th anniversary of their 1980 worldwide hit Echo Beach, Martha and the Muffins went into Toronto's Wellesley Sound Studios in June 2010 to record a new take on the song. Martha Johnson's distinctive voice and the evocative guitar of Mark Gane are backed by Hill Kourkoutis (acoustic guitar/backing vocals), Evelyne Datl (piano), Brian Kobayakawa (acoustic bass) and Tom Bona (drums) on what Martha and Mark like to call their "grown-up" version of the song.

During the same session, MatM recorded Big Day, a new song about love and loneliness.
