Upstairs At Graceland

Album Notes
The Rick Cantor Band brings together five people who share a combined love affair with great music ranging from the British Invasion through punk, new wave, pop, jam bands and later hybrids, not to mention virtually every other branch of this amazing tree. We love guitars, sound, melodies and everything that rocks. We came together discovering unique covers and they’ve formed everything we do in our own material. Recorded in a few days in Memphis, home of so much classic American music, Upstairs At Graceland is a tapestry encompassing anthems, haunting acoustic/electric pop, Southern rock and the particular angst of America in the 21st century. It’s about joy, beauty, illusion and disillusion. Our minds, hearts and souls are here on display, we loved making it and we hope you’ll love listening.
