ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
RICKY LEE JACKSON

"He’s the new Joe the Plumber; now there's Rick the Doctor... Some have joined Tea Parties, stormed town halls, others like family practice physician and country recording artist Ricky Lee Jackson have taken to the microphone... he wants his country back." -- Fox and Friends / Fox News

It’s been a busy year for Washington State based family practice physician, music recording artist, and political grass-roots activist Ricky Lee Jackson. Becoming fed up with the out of control spending and watching his American freedoms erode with the ever increasing choke hold of Big Government, Ricky Lee decided enough was enough. Although a Doctor by trade, he brought his previous years experiences as a Nashville recording country music artist back into play and recorded the songs “Freedom Family and Faith” and "We're Gonna Have A Par-Tea!" in hopes to inspire his fellow citizens to take action in a grass-roots effort to take back America to it’s Founding Principles of limited government and freedom. And he has!

Over the past year the Clark County based physician-musician has performed nationally on the #1 Cable Morning News TV Show “Fox and Friends”, has performed at the WA GOP State convention alongside former Presidential candidate Mitt Romney, had his first single "Freedom Family and Faith" go to #1 on the National CDBaby country music charts, and will be the highlighted performer at the upcoming AAPS National Doctor’s Tea Party Rally August 7th in San Diego, CA.

His current single, “We’re Gonna Have A Par-Tea!” was written as an anthem in support of the grass-roots Tea Party movement; a political movement that has garnered national headlines with recent primary wins against more established and better funded candidates. The themes of fiscal responsibility, freedom from government bureaucracy, and a return to constitutional governing are just a few of the rallying cries that the Tea Party, and consequently Ricky Lee Jackson’s song, deliberately highlights.

Ricky says about his songs and the grassroots political movement happening right now, “To me, these three things––Freedom, Family and Faith––are seen to be the foundations, the pillars on which this great nation, this great and good society, was built on. These are the pillars that support my life. If any one of these three pillars is taken away, the Foundation, and so the whole house, is put at risk. That’s why I can’t sit on the sidelines and do nothing. I have to get involved.”

Ricky Lee continues to receive invitations to sing at constitutionally conservative events around the country, and has partnered with such organizations as Americans For Prosperity, The Evergreen Freedom Foundation, and has been a featured guest on the American Freedom Report. Ricky Lee is also a frequent columnist for the online conservative news and media outlet “Web Today”.

When he is not “singing to rally the nation” (‘Fox and Friends’) Ricky resides in Vancouver, WA with his wife of 35 years, Jeanine. Ricky loves spending his free time with his three grown children and several grandchildren.
