ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
As all of us try to live our lives in peace, the opposing forces of society present unending challenges. At the center of these tumultuous circumstances is a peaceful place, a place where we are when we find love. Starfire's debut release Eye of the Storm is an instrument-focused musical journey of the heart through all of the coldness in this world, and to love, elevating, and nourishing our soul with togetherness and affection. Leading with piano ballads--at times tense with suspense and deeply emotional, yet offset by high-spirited pop--the listener experiences the ecstasy and the agony of finding a soul mate, but being unable to be with them. However, with the second half of the program, rock anthems with timeless melodies bring the strength of determination to overcome. The album concludes with an epic instrumental with a classic feel conveying the weight and turbulence of the emotions that the entire journey creates.
