Album Notes
This 49-track album was released in connection with the choir's 30th Anniversary and is a compilation of highlights from several years of live performances. It includes music of masters of the Italien Renaissance and settings of several German Art Songs--as well as music of Zoltan Kodaly, Jean Sibelius, Joachin Rodrigo, contemporary Argintinian composer, Antonio Russo and jazz great, Duke Ellingtonngto (along with selections from "Postcards from Paradise" by the choir's director). The album's folk and popular selections are drawn from many areas of the world-- including Sweden, Denmark, Ukraine, Slovakia, Hungary, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, France, Venezuela, Brazil, Cehtral Africa, Zambia, Namibia, the Andes and the USA (including Native America).

The Salt Lake Children's Choir has long been admired for its remarkable artistry, its vast repertoire and its pure, angelic sound.
A prize-winner in international competition, it has preformed with many celebrated artists and ensembles, has been featured at numerous conventions of the American Choral Directors' Association and has been heard on Public Radio International and American Public Media. Members of the choir have also been heard on multiple soundtracks for film and television.
