Album Notes
*This music is available in download only.*

"A Whispered Warning," has stood the test of time. This record was originally released in 1983 by Dan Slider and Dann Glenn. Slider/Glenn wrote and arranged for a full horn section capped-off by lead trumpet virtuoso Al Vizzutti. Recorded at Skyline Studios, nestled in the Malibu Mountains outside of Los Angeles, the entire vibe of this project is magical.

This music was used in the 80/90's on many television shows including "The Tonight Show." Written with a wonderment for the times, not to mention a great sense of humor, Slider/Glenn created music that is timeless and heartfelt.

Dan Slider went on to become a celebrated LA film scorer working in both television and motion pictures. Dann Glenn went on to become a Composer, Author, and Jazz Bass virtuoso.

Even Better Than I Remembered
I recently heard this classic collection of music had been made available again on CD Baby. As someone who has become very familiar with Dann Glenn's body of work, I thought it would be interesting to re-visit these songs, which I had not heard in quite a while. It is mind-boggling the record was originally released in 1983. These songs sound as fresh as the first time I heard them, nearly 20 years ago! Quality stands the test of time.

Not Whispered
No warning needed here! Feel good music; fresh, breezy and flirtatious with a sense of humor. Another auditory treat from the brilliant talent of Mr. Dann Glenn.

A Whispered Warning
I have appreciated Dann Glenn's music for many years, and always look forward to his next release. This is one I missed back in the 80s, and I am so glad it is out there now. The fusion of Glenn's virtuosity and Slider's score composition influence is all there in this one. Just plain fun listening...enjoy...I know I did!!!

A Gem
I recently learned about the existence of this album. The early 80s had many great and very unique Fusion bands. They were recognizable and all had their own chemistry. Dan Slider and Dann Glenn are no exception. Great compositions and arrangements were nothing was left to chance. Performed and delivered with high energy and virtuosity. This is another gem from the times when Fusion and Jazz Rock were full of creativity and boundaries were meant to be overstepped.
