Album Notes
Born in England and raised in Virginia, Victoria has been a New Yorker for 10 years and now calls Brooklyn home. She was formerly one half of the folk duo Molly Pitcher, which released the critically acclaimed CD Watching the Rain (also available on CD Baby) and was selected to perform in the prestigious emerging artist showcases at both the Falcon Ridge and Kerrville Folk Festivals. Victoria subsequently took time off from performing to finish her Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology and then later to care for her newborn daughter.

Just as she was beginning to focus on music again and return to performing, Victoria was diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer. Transforming her initial devastation into determination, she is facing recovery with strength, resilience, and grace.

Made For Roses is part of that recovery. This four songs were recorded during Victoria's hiatus from live performance and represent her more recent writing and hopes for a full-length solo recording sometime in the near future.

"Besides being beautiful, inside and out, Victoria has -- objectively speaking, in my opinion -- the voice of an angel and the songwriting pen of a folk goddess." - Sharon Goldman, SongwritingScene.com
