Album Notes
As enriching as it is entertaining, KIDS MEET COMPOSERS is a fun-filled and interactive introduction to 10 beloved composers: *Bach *Mozart *Beethoven *Brahms *Tchaikovsky *Strauss *Sousa *Foster *Joplin and *Bond.
After the theme song, “Composers Write Music”, each composer is given two tracks.
Track 1 – is a Listen and Learn track. We play “Guess The Composer!” with biographical clues from the composer’s life and work. We hear the composer singing and speaking with children, in a most delightful way.
Track 2 – is a Simple Performance track. We sing and dance, play instruments or add props to an excerpt from one of the composer’s masterworks. Lyrics and arrangements for each excerpt have been created especially for young listeners.
This album is especially appropriate for children ages 4-9 -- and will be enjoyed by the whole family.
The KIDS MEET COMPOSERS project was created by ASCAP award recipient Wendy Rollin who wrote text, script, lyrics and original music, as well as playing the album’s music.

An amazing kids CD!
My son Benny is 7 years old and very musical. He loves his Kids Meet Composers album and has learned so much from it! He really likes hearing the composers sing, especially Beethoven. He enthusiastically retells details about Beethoven's life and sings the 9th Symphony song. In his music class, they danced with canes to the Scott Joplin ragtime song. He can guess all the composers from the clues in the composer game. I think this album is one of the things that helped inspire him to take piano lessons.

A family favorite!!
Our whole family loves Kids Meet Composers--especially the parts where the composers sing and talk with the kids.
We listen over and over. Tchaikovsky and Strauss are our two top favorites--but we love the whole thing.
