ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Wild Hair is a contra dance band based in Portland, Oregon. They perform for dances and dance camps regionally, including dance events in Seattle, Vancouver B.C., and Alaska. They bring skill and energy to their dance music. Betsy Branch on fiddle provides melodic and driving melodies. She is ably backed up by Mark Douglass on piano (influenced by jazz and gospel styles), Jeff Kerssen-Greip on guitar (influenced by rock), and Todd Silverstein on penny whistle, bouzouki and saxophone. Their music will make you want to dance all night.
