ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Wallshaker Music proudly presents "Detrevolution," the brand new, full-length CD from Aaron-Carl. Known best for his house-turned-ghetto classic "Down," the soul-stirring "Sky," and the deep house anthem "My House," AC comes full circle with this album.

Deep, soulful House? It's here. Detroit-style Techno? It's here. Melodic Electro grooves? Booty-shaking Ghetto-tech bangers? It's all here on Detrevolution, delivered as only AC can...

Songs like the highly-sought after "21 Positions," and the emotionally-charged "Ghetto Life" are just the tip of the iceberg. Over 70 minutes of music, from the dance floor to the inner soul...

** This CD contains a special bonus track, plus two hidden tracks!

DETREVOLUTION picks up where "Uncloseted" left off. And then some...

"...Expect something refreshing, full of dark energy, sexual, moving, funny, spiritual, beasty and definitely über-danceable!
Obviously AC worked his ass off on this one because it's just plain perfection: the sound is incredible and the hour and 20 minutes passes very fast. You find yourself saying "what? it's over already? it was just getting started!"
Aaron, tu as fait un chef-d'oeuvre!

--Laurent Chambon, Amsterdam

Where have I been all this time? Aaron is off the chain!!
I can't believe it has taken me this long to come across Aaron Carl...This CD is killer! It's one you can throw on and clean the hell out of your house with. At points I had to stop and yell, "work damn it!" Detrevolution is a must for LGBT collectors, and anyone who likes easy listening house. The bonus & hidden tracks make it so worth while!

Don't Groove To House? You Will Now!
I am basing this review on the tracks from it that I've already heard. I'm not usually a fan of house in any of the forms it comes in, but Aaron has really "turned me out!" His tracks cover every aspect of human emotion, and sets each mood to beats that range from spiritually sublime to downright NASSSTAAAAY!!! Being an intermittent bar-hopper, I can say that I've yet to hear anything in the clubs as fresh and as funky as this gets. For the best bits, I suggest you give a listen to the danceably dirty "21 Positions," the sublime "Drive (I-75)" (which could be twenty minutes longer, AFAIC), and the darkly meditative "Hateful" (a song that both Cher and Madonna should take notes from.) Don't wait till this one is gone! Get it NOW!!!!
