ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
This is Abby Green's third album. To fund this album, a Kickstarter campaign was launched. In 23 hours the modest amount, $1600 for the printing of 1000 copies, was fully funded. The campaign was complete in 21 days bringing this solo independent artist $6521.00. This paid for the production of this CD as well as the traditional song book she compiled and researched earlier in 2015 (The book, The Tradition of Irish Song, is available on Abby's website or on Amazon).

This CD is Abby's true love. She has had a strong love of close harmony in a way that can only be described in spiritual terms. She plays Irish bouzouki to accompany the songs. Abby wrote the harmonies and Karen Ballew, Cayla Cardiff, and Kelly Long brought the vocal arrangements to life. The result is a heartfelt intensity that characterizes Irish song.
