Album Notes
Ace in the Hand are three guys who lived though the popular music revolution of the '60s. Their interest in playing music was inspired by the Beatles and Stones followed quickly by Cream . Hendrix , Fleetwood Mac and all the other great rock bands who took the world by storm at the time.

Who better now than to be in the thick of the 'New Wave of Classic Rock' has the latest rock revolution has been designated.

Self-taught guitarist Alex Oliver has travelled the world. An amazing story-teller, he draws you in naturally. His talent for arrangements can at times seemlessly blend classical and rock pasages to create music that is driven and enchanting.

Welsh drummer Mike Evans had a club residency at the age of 13. Now a retired business executive with retail and music industry experience he has awakened his old passion and is a consumate percussionist not afraid to include electronics and sampling in his armoury .

Bassman Stievie Haywood played in clubs and pubs in the North of England for over 20 years, pausing to raise a family. Surviving horriffic hand injuries , he has taught himself to play again. he is an adept and melodic counterpart.

Ace in the Hand's collective talents are crafted into versatile, crisp and uplifting experiences, filled with humour and music.
