Album Notes
Americana Yoga Music brings you original roots, country and folk music designed specifically for your yoga, meditation, sleep and all-round peace and calm. We bring together the National and Dobro guitar sound, with warm washes of sound and soft tremolo Fenders. Each piece is paced to aid relaxation, promote stillness in the mind and enable you to focus gently on what matters.

Americana Yoga Music Volume 1 was a great success and is being enjoyed across the world. It’s finding its way into yoga classes, birthing classes, actual birthing rooms, baby’s night-time routines and sometimes just onto people’s stereos because it sounds great.

Volume 1 took a couple of weeks to record, but volume 2 has taken a couple of years, mainly because I’ve now got a little boy and everything takes that bit longer, but two years is quite a long time for twenty minutes of music!

I’m thrilled to have probably the world’s finest Pedal Steel player, B.J. Cole, performing on Spring. His playing is beautiful, I'm sure you'll agree. Piano on Spring is by my wonderful brother Matt, he played and recorded the part just as I wanted and far more skilfully than my own attempts.

So take your time with this music, play it in the background or the foreground, put it in a playlist with Volume 1 and enjoy yourself.
