ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Pulling the strings of the gold concert grand harp evokes images of the ancient past. The ritual celebration of the birth of the infant King who would change the world inspires the music that we have all come to love. On this CD, harp, vocals and flute weave together to create a magical recording of European and American Christmas favorites. While Adrienne Bridgewater’s playing and singing convey the essence of the music, flutist Kati Lorant, embellishes the melodies with her unique improvisation. A listener comments, “Every piece on this CD is an absolute delight!”

Adrienne is a prominent solo artist in Metropolitan Phoenix, Arizona, performing for private as well as public festivities. She has played extended engagements at
major resorts in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area and sung major roles in many musicals as a university student while earning both Bachelors and Masters degrees.

Among notable people who have engaged Adrienne to entertain are Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O’Conner, Arizona Senator John McCain and athlete Steve Nash.
Recently she has opened for Kenny Loggins and Lional Richie.
In addition to Adrienne’s solo recordings she has collaborated with other harpists on recordings of harp music created for Hospice of the Valley and The Harp Foundation.

Adrienne is on the board of directors for the Phoenix Chapter of the American Harp Society as well as The Harp Foundation. A third generation native of Arizona, Adrienne lives in Scottsdale with her husband and two teenaged children.

Purest renditions of favorites, exceeding reminiscent expectations, fulfilling heart yearnings. Adrienne has truly captured Christmas's Spirit – only the someone with divinely bestowed talent and the purest heart can do that...

The best Christmas album I've ever heard-Adrienne Bridgewater's "A Christmas Por
I love Christmas music and own a lot of it. Adrienne Bridgewater's "A Christmas Portait" is, without question, the best. The combination of the magnificent harp, the clear, sweet vocal, and the occassional flute are mesmerizing and theraputic balm for the rush and busy-ness that can sometimes cloud the Christmas season. I can listen to it for hours and hours.
