AMITABHA MANTRA
OM AMI DEVA HRI
Amitabha is of great important in far-eastern Buddhism, where he is known as Amida. He also has a Bodhisattva form called Amitayus, which means “Infinite Life.” The Bodhisattva form is, unlike the monastic Buddha-form, arrayed as a young prince with long hair and adorned with jewelry and fine silks. In some traditions Amitabha and Amitayus are seen as being essentially the same being.
o Om Ami Dewa Hrih is the sacred mantra of Amitabha (Amitayus) Buddha which protects you from obstacles and dangers and overcomes all hindrances to your success. This chant is also known as “Dharani for pulling out karmic obstructions by the roots and obtaining birth in the Pure Land”
Om represents the enlightened body, speech, and mind;
o Ami represents Buddha Amitabha;
o Dewa represents the deva realms, 6 desire realms, and Brahma realms;
o Hrih represents the seed syllable of compassion.

MEDICINE BUDDHA MANTRA:
One of the most important mantras for healing,
it asks for healing from the illusion of duality.
TEYATHA OM BEKANZE BEKANZE MAHA BEKANZE RADZA SAMUGATE SOHA
• Translation:
Medicine Buddha, you are the King,
the Supreme Healer.
Please remove illness, illness and the
great Illness. Now I offer this prayer.

TIBETAN WHITE UMBRELLA MANTRA:
OM SARVA TATHAGATA USHNISHA
SITATA - PATRE HUM PEH
The name Ushnisha Sitatapatra translates as:
"The Victorious White Parasol." She is known as the White Umbrella Goddess who saves us from all harm. Her parasol symbolizes protection from natural catastrophes, diseases, spirit harm and all forms of misfortune. Ushnisha Sitatapatra is a female form of Avalokiteshvara, the Buddha of Compassion. She has a thousand eyes that watch over living beings, and a thousand arms that protect and assist them. Chanting her mantra invokes extremely powerful protection.

MANJUSRI MANTRA:
OM ARYA PATSA NADI
The Manjushri mantra is the mantra for the bodhisattva Manjushri, who is representative of wisdom. His mantra is also symbolic of the wisdom that Manjushri offers. Illustrations and statues of Manjushri depict him clutching a flaming sword in his right hand, held above his head; this is symbolic of his ability to use wisdom in order to cut through any types of delusion and suffering that sentient beings might be struggling with. In his left hand, held at the height of his heart, he is holding the stem of the lotus. The lotus contains a book called the Perfection of Wisdom.
• Meaning:
Om – Not only can Om be considered to be the essence of the five wisdoms, but it can also be reflective of an awareness of the surrounding universe. It is used at the start of many mantras and should be considered to mean “My mind and heart are open to the truths that follow.”
• A – Is often in references to the ideal that the essence of nature is unproduced.
• Ra – This is often reflective of the ideal that all things are free from defilements.
• Pat – This leads to the ideal that all dharmas have been “expounded in the supreme sense.”
• Ca – Is often in reference to the ideal that the arising and cessation of things cannot be wholly understood because, in reality, there is no arising and cessation to start with.
• Na – This is representative of the belief that while the names for things may change, the true nature of them cannot be changed.
• Dhih – This is often defined with the meaning of “prayer” or “understanding” or “reflection.”

KUAN SHI YIN MANTRA:
OM NAMOH KUAN SHI YIN POSA
Meaning:
• Namo (Sanskrit) means ”homage to” or ”refuge in”;
• Guan (Chinese) means ”observe” or ”care”;
• Shi (Chinese) means ”world”;
• Yin (Chinese) means ”sound” or ”voice”;
• Pusa (Sanskrit) means ”Bodhisattva” – a being with great compassion and wisdom.

AVE MARIA
Ave Maria, gratia plena, Dominus tecum.
Benedicta tu in mulieribus,
et benedictus fructus ventris tui, Iesus.
Sancta Maria, Mater Dei,
ora pro nobis peccatoribus,
nunc et in hora mortis nostrae. Amen.
Translation:
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
