ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
This album is heavily influenced by traditional Middle Eastern and belly dance music. It also draws influences from Medieval and Renaissance music as well as modern electronic music. Afrit Temple is unafraid to blend disparate sources and prefers to come up with something that sounds new and hopefully unlike a lot of other music, yet at the same time, is easy to listen to and dance to.

Amara (Electric Shimmy Bellydance)

Love it!
I absolutely love every track on this CD! There are some classic and some fusion songs making it a great mix for Bellydancers. Also slow tempo vs. quick tempo. My favorites are: Oblation, Palastinalied, It Breathes, and Knife in the dark.
