Album Notes
Aida released her second CD "Starry Eyed Bitches" in the early spring of 2002 at CB's Gallery, where she had also launched her first CD "Wide Eyed" March 1999). Unlike her debut CD, "Starry Eyed Bitches" offers a more dramatic and instrumental flair rather than the hollow and bare songs featured on her first CD. Although the contrast between both CDs are extreme, Aida's style is not unrecognizable from her formative material.

Aida's voice was recently featured on the new single "Static Screams", written by SinSinSix (NYC), and can be heard on several college radio stations in NYC and Long Island. ( She has also received publicity and radio play at several radio stations in the UK and Portugal.

This is fantastic....
I've actually had the pleasure of hearing Aida on Stonybrook's radio station. I had no idea who she was and called up to find out. I have the cd now and it's great. Great production too. Next time, a full-length cd would be great. Her voice is beautiful. Buy this!

new style, new emotions, new energy, old quality
One part tori, one part p.j., all parts...AIDA. The disc takes a venturesome step away from acoustic folk and toward sonic rock. Luckily, the raw energy and talent which was pervasive in Wide Eyed is still apparent. Added was slick production and intersting harmonies. The song titled Unbreakable Heart has an interweaving chorus combined with guttural harmonies. Aida's vocals sound full due to double tracking and a kick ass voice. If she doesn't make it big the she has really bad luck cause the's there.

this cd is seet
sweet like sugar!!!
its really cool and meaningful and aida's voice is mezmerizing

stradling the boundary between art and music
This is a wonderful and smart follow up to Aida's 'Wide Eyed'. Before we got to hear Aida in the raw, this time she uses the alternative sound to create a musical experience that communicates the dark and dreamy content of her lyrics. It is a brilliant fusion. Her voice is plenty strong enough to hold up against the background and back up vocals (a great addition); as her sultry alto becomes one with them. Picture yourself walking down a rainy, dark alleyway, naked, with a lover while tripping on mushrooms- that's this cd!

Someone loan me $10 to buy this?
poignant, emotional malestorm... though sometimes the percussion + production distract(me @ least), Aida's voice + lyrics always come thru to paint a stirring picture. *Rot Like This* haunts me for days after i hear it. Shad anush lezu gin e. Sh'norvor lini.
