ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
This collection, similar to the first album, includes a number of songs that had lyrics and chords but looked for life through the contribution of other musicians. Songs such as Mirror, Sarab, Blue Bird, Day Balal, took flight with the capable hands of Nima Hafezieh, the amazing pianist the listeners can hear on those tracks. His improvisations can also be heard as Prelude", "Interlude" and, "Finale", which are dispersed in the album and offer the ear a break from multiple instruments and vocals. A friendship such as that with Saeed Hashemi also created pieces such as "Your Two Braids" and "Azari", both of which were originally created by Saeed. I just messed with them quite a bit. JT Bates provides some exceptional drums for that track. Jeremy Ylvisaker, Bryan Nichols, Jacqueline Ultan, and Mike Lewis all carried this album to its completion. They are the blood that runs through it. To me, this collection is the amalgamation of some of my favorite musicians. None of this would have been possible without them.
