ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Thank you so much for checking my music. The Archi-tet is Aki's jazz project, presenting my original compositions. I find the creative process of composing music similar to architecture in that when I compose. I begin by sketching out musical ideas in my mind. Drawing upon these mental images, I develop melodies and harmonies, and seek to choose the best instrumentations available. When, through collaboration with musicians, I complete the process and have finally created a piece of music to match the sound in my imagination, it is truly delightful feeling!

Here, I have selected five songs while thinking of my friends. In hopes that many people will enjoy these songs. I have fused together element from traditional jazz with influences from my favorite modern popular music. I hope that you like this Album.

I would like to thank to all of my friends for supporting me, and to the many musicians and teachers who have helped and inspired me.
