Album Notes
Many things come to mind upon hearing Alabama Mike sing for the first time, but mostly its where has this guy been? With a soulful voice that brings such greats as Elmore James, Buddy Guy, Little Johnny Taylor and yes even BB King to mind, you will be asking yourself why haven't I seen or heard of him before. Alabama Mike is a very unique talent , not only a gifted singer but also a very talented song writer, having penned over half of the tunes on this impressive debut.
Born in Talladega Alabama in 1964 " Alabama" was influenced by the Gospel singing of his father at a early age, as well as his love for Chicago Blues, Alabama Mike is embarking a bright future.Alabama Mike is a artist that anybody that has any interest in the Blues will soon be aware of.
The CD features the talents of Steve freund; RJ Misho, John Nemeth;Charles Wheal and Chris Burns as well as memebers of his band Third Degree.

Are you looking for upcoming Bluesmen?.....It is still there....Alabama Mike
Last Saturday I visited my regular Blues Shop, Triple J in Tiel Netherlands, and I listened to Alabama Mike.
Mike has a good Blues voice sound and put dynamite is his performing, the guitarplayer has been to the same school as Hound Dog Taylor I guess. Great sound he produces. The choice of songs, Mike's voice and the tight playing band with the fine slide work of the guitar player, makes this CD great! Thanx Mike for having my friend RJ Mischo on the CD too!
I am looking forward for more work from you! The Blues is still alive!!!!!!!!!!!
