ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
À La Bonheur is a trio of alternative festive music founded in 2016. Songs with text, Rock, Reggae, Folk, Blues or Ska, the trio plays with these styles to make people dance but also cogitate ... Led by the duo Valentin (guitar , bass, harmonica, vocals) and Christophe (Farfisa organ, melodica, guitar, vocals), two longtime buddies, served by Xabi's energetic drums, met during a performance and will give birth to the trio. There is not one, but two frontmen, who exchange lead vocals.

Behind an apparent simplicity, the texts raise many topical subjects, written by Valentin and Christophe throughout these years of adventures, travels and meetings. They have just delivered their first album of 13 original titles in June 2019. A group that recalls the good times of independent French music, roots reggae and oldies boogies times.
The group has performed since its creation, 4 years ago, more than 300 concerts in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine, Hautes-Pyrénées, Occitanie and Hautes-Alpes regions of France. They made a set noticed in summer 2017 at the Big Bag Festival of Bagnères-de-Bigorre (2017), at La Gespe (Smac de Tarbes) before Mes Souliers sont Rouges (2018) and this summer 2019 at PyrèneFest (Pau ) alongside Zoufris Maracas, Les Motivés and Les Yeux de la tête.
