ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Alana Karin is a 32 year old emerging Canadian singer songwriter. Her style is unique and positively Canadian, similar in nature to Sarah McLachlan, Chantal Kreviaziuk, Jann Arden and Loreena McKennit by all of whom she is deeply influenced. In addition she adds an element of classic rock with echo's of Pink Floyd, Moody Blues and Peter Gabriel. What wonderful artists of inspiration. Alana's music reflects her deep admiration for nature and her keen ability to create imagery through lyrics and music alike. Easy to listen to, Alana's music maintains Celtic/Canadian undertones with soft piano and haunting violin. Alana's music allows the listener to take their own journey of thought as they contemplate the lyrics whilst enjoying soft melodies and relaxation.
